Dota 2 Announces Auto Chess Game, Dota Underlords

A new Dota 2 game called Dota Underlords has been announcementwhich is a standalone Auto Chess game, inspired by Drodo Studio’s Dota 2 custom mod. Dota announced last month that it was working on its own version of Auto Chess, saying more information would be posted at coming.

Dota Underlords lets eight players compete to dominate the city, White Spire.All Dota 2 Battle Pass owners can participate in the beta starting Thursday, and an open beta is expected after about a week of server “stress testing.”

Open beta players can play online against seven other players, practice their skills offline against bots, and band together while playing against bots or other players in a party.

Dota Underlords will be free-to-play and available on Steam, iOS, and Android once the open beta launches. Open beta starter features include ranked matchmaking, cross-play on all devices, and leaderboard and progress sharing on all devices.
Dota 2 is on IGN’s list of the best games to play on PC right now, and the game’s International 19 tournament reached nearly $6 million in one-day funding this year.
